OPAL v1.2 Now Shipping

North Palm Beach, Florida -- March 10, 1994  -- MineralWare
announced today it is shipping OPAL v1.2, a utility that lets users
and network administrators monitor disk drive activity.  Each time
a file is accessed, created, copied or deleted, OPAL records the
type of action, date and time to an activity log. An optional
feature of this product, provides the ability to lock access to
floppy disk drives.

OPAL v1.2 offers a wide variety of options that can be easily
customized to suit any level of environments.  From single user
computer stations, shared by multiple users, to wide-area networks,
computer managers and information managers can finally and
precisely determined what has been accessed, copied or deleted as
well as identify the user.  An add-on feature available to all OPAL
users, provides the ability to lock any user or users from copying
information off the hard drive or network drive to floppy disks. 

OPAL v1.2 is a TSR which requires 4K of memory, runs with DOS (3.0
or higher), Windows, Netware, Lantastic or other NetBios compatible
LANs and monitors local as well as network drives.

OPAL v1.2 is available directly from MineralWare, Inc. at the 
introductory price of $49.95 for a single user version. The network
version is available and the price depends on the number of users
on your network.
